Showcased Innovative Products at SCC 2017 and Established an Academic Platform to Promote International Exchanges

The 19th South China International Congress of Cardiology (SCC 2017) was held in Guangzhou on April 6-9, 2017. As a pioneer in innovation, Lifetech participated in this conference, and organized a launch ceremony for the "Lifetech International Training Program-Interventional Treatment for Cardiovascular Disease" (the “Training Program”) in cooperation with Professor Zhang Zhiwei of Guangdong General Hospital.

 

At 10:00am on April 7, Guangdong General Hospital broadcast a TEVAR live case to the SCC conference. The procedure was mainly performed by Professor Liu Yuan from the Department of Cardiology of Guangdong General Hospital. Professor Huang Lianjun from the Capital Medical University Affiliated Anzhen Hospital and Professor Feng Rui from the Second Military Medical University Affiliated Changhai Hospital were invited as expert commentators.

 

The patient was diagnosed with type B thoracic aortic dissection and with dissection in the descending aorta. The tear is large, and the false lumen is bigger than the true lumen.
