CSI Dubai 2017 was held in Dubai from April 20 to 22, 2017. LifeTech Scientific Corporation attended the conference and introduced to experts from the world its innovation capacity and technological strength in interventional cardiology by giving presentations and exhibiting its innovative products.

At noon of April 21, Prof. Horst Sievert from Cardiovascular Center Frankfurt gave a presentation entitled "The New LAmbreTM LAA Closure Device" at the LAA session.

Prof. Horst Sievert emphasized that the LAmbre™ LAA occluder is suitable for a variety of LAA anatomy, and the size selection of the LAmbre™ LAA occluder should not only consider the size of a patient's LAA landing zone but also measure the size of the patient`s LAA orifice in order to select the most appropriate device size according to specific LAA conditions. After that, Prof. Horst Sievert shared a case of dense SEC in appendage and demonstrated the techniques of deploying the LAmbre™ LAA occluder for occlusion. During the presentation, Prof. Horst Sievert disclosed clinical follow-up data of the LAmbre™ LAA occluder in Europe and China. According to the data, the success implantation rate of LAmbre™ LAA occluder is up to 99.6%, showing the excellent safety and effectiveness of the device. In an interview after the presentation, Prof. Horst Sievert again endorsed the unique advantages of the LAmbre™ LAA occluder.

At the ASD, VSD and PFO Closure session in the morning of April 22, Prof. Massimo Chessa from the IRCCS-Policlinico San Donato-University Hospital in Italy gave a presentation entitled "CeraFlex™  ASD & PFO Closure Italian Experience". Prof. Massimo Chessa spoke positively of the innovative design of the CeraFlex™ occluder: 1) the occluder has no hub on the left disc, which could reduce the risk of the formation of hub-related thrombus; 2) the ceramic coating of the occluder can reduce the release of Nickel ions in blood; 3) easy to use that the device is fully retrievable during the procedure; 4) the feature of accurate positioning and stable deploying can reduce the risk of device migration and embolization and especially reduce the risk for ASD patients with insufficient rim.

After that, Prof. Horst Sievert, in his presentation entitled "The New IrisFIT™ PFO Occluder", introduced Lifetech's IrisFIT™ PFO occluder as currently the world's only PFO occluder suitable for long tunnels. Its flexible connected mechanism allows the device to adjust according to the heartbeats, thus reducing friction at heart tissue. At last, Prof. Horst Sievert disclosed the six-month clinical follow-up data of Lifetech's IrisFIT™ PFO occluder, which showed that the occlusion performance of the device is superior to the industry average.

Lifetech's booth at the event also attracted many doctors and industry specialists for products information and inquiries.

The conference was closed on April 22, 2017. As the only occluder developer and manufacturer from China to attend the event, Lifetech again had China's voice for innovation heard by the world. Lifetech will continue its commitment to innovation and its mission to make a greater contribution to human health.
